360º Feedback Assessments

360º assessments are a leadership and/or personal development tool used to tease out personal strengths and blind spots.

Feedback is received from others ‘around’ the client being assessed (i.e. staff, peers, leaders). Questions used are based on a set of predetermined behavioural competencies. The results culminated in a report of key themes – all of which can be used to formulate a road map where strengths are amplified and blind spots are revealed and eliminated. 360 assessment can take one of three forms:

  • Fixed Questionnaire Design: Used primarily to gather quantitative feedback on 16 core leadership competencies defined in the Lumina Leader Model, but provides raters the option to provide written feedback in open text fields.

  • Customized Questionnaire Design: Questionnaire design is customized to gather quantitative feedback on specific competencies. The areas explored are defined by the client and questions of inquiry are co-created with your coach. Raters can also be given the option to provide written feedback in open text fields.

  • Narrative 360º Feedback Design: Interview-based multi-rater feedback gathered through targeted, in-depth conversations. The competencies explored are defined by the client and questions of inquiry are co-created with your coach. This feedback is far more granular, personal and contextual than traditional survey-based 360 assessments. this process goes far beyond traditional 360 surveys to deliver details and examples, helping participants understand how they impact others and how they can focus future development strategies.
